Fencing Association of India Announces Cash Prizes for Indian Fencing Medal Winners at 20th Asian Games 2026

The Fencing Association of India (FAI) has announced cash prizes for Indian fencers who win medals at the 20th Asian Games 2026, being held in Aichi-Nagoya, Japan.
The announcement was made by Shri Rajeev Mehta, Secretary General, Fencing Association of India, as a gesture of appreciation and encouragement for Indian fencers representing the country at the Asian Games.
The cash prize structure announced by FAI is:
🥇 Gold Medal – ₹10 Lakh
🥈 Silver Medal – ₹7.5 Lakh
🥉 Bronze Medal – ₹5 Lakh
The initiative reflects FAI’s commitment to recognising the dedication, hard work and achievements of Indian fencers competing at the highest level in Asia.
Speaking on the announcement, Shri Rajeev Mehta, Secretary General, Fencing Association of India, said:
> “Our fencers have worked extremely hard to represent India at the Asian Games. This cash prize is a small recognition of their dedication and commitment. We hope it will further motivate our athletes to compete with confidence, pride and determination and bring glory to the nation.”
